For a competition to develop a new retail concept for Philosophy, I worked on the creation of a spatial identity that could translate the brand's approach to skincare into a physical and immersive environment.
The concept is built around the contrast between clinical precision and domestic softness. Textured walls, warm integrated lighting, black architectural details and carefully curated product displays create a space that feels both sophisticated and intimate.
The layout was designed as a clear customer journey, moving from product discovery and brand storytelling towards more intimate consultation areas. Each element was considered to reinforce the brand’s language while creating a consistent and adaptable retail environment.
The project explored how architecture, materiality, lighting and visual communication could work together to establish a distinctive Philosophy store concept, designed to be adapted across different retail locations.
